About Nicole
Nicole Burch is a comedian and writer living in Los Angeles. She is a Sunday Company alum from the reputable Groundlings Theater, where she is best known for her show The 7 Guys You Date Before You Get Married, an elective show that ran over fifteen months to sold out shows. LA WEEKLY called her “The Taylor Swift of Comedy” and the show led to bookings on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Hulu’s Casual, HBO’s Barry and several national commercials.
In the fall of 2020, Nicole’s first comedy special Never Been Kissed premiered, winning her Best Comedy Special at the Omni Cultural TV Fest. In March 2024, her second special, Mama Drama premiered, detailing how she became pregnant from a one night stand with a friend, her struggles through single motherhood and eventually meeting the love of her life. Surprise…he’s a ginger with a dad bod and she has never been more turned on!
Nicole has a podcast called The Funny Thing Is where guests share a life changing event, the “medicine” they took to get better and the funniest lesson they learned along the way. Sometimes the medicine is talk therapy. And sometimes it’s doing ayahuasca, naked in a Costa Rican jungle.
Burch has tried many characters on social media, but none have taken off quite like one named Nurse Rachel! Nicole wanted to combine her cousin Rachel's southern hospitality and medical career with her father’s dad jokes and embarrassing puns. And boy did it go viral! After 30 million views and several corporate gigs later, Nurse Rachel is now co-headlining Nicole’s stand up shows. X-rays and all!
Hailing from Kansas City, Burch's comedic style is midwest honesty mixed with the kind of storytelling that makes you feel right at home. She finds humor in the darkest places and always leaves the audience with a high dose of inspirational comedy.
Despite touring, writing and pushing out Nurse Rachel content, Nicole feels most at home in Kansas City, surrounded by family, her husband and most importantly, her daughter Everly, who may be funnier than all of us.
